CSICOP
I receive (for free) the Council of Secular Humanism's monthly
They published a statement of 186 scientists who agreed that astrology was bs.
They then dedicated an issue that included articles from astrologists and those that disagreed. The issue was very fair.
Afterwards they formed a Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims Of the Paranormal (CSICOP) 
They decided that sceintists were not suitable to check these claims. They were too easily fooled, and they assumed that if they are checking something they might be true.
So they chose magicians who were experts in tricks that can fool people. Those who claimed that they had special powers could not pass the inspection of the magicians.

My Children My greatest success is my children. Of course I will talk about them in a blog that is dedicated to what I love. The popular attitude in my generation was to have only 2-3 children so as not to contribute to the the over population of the world. Robert Heinlein convinced me to have more . In his book "Starship Troopers". A history teacher told his class why World War 3 happened. He said that the people who were well off and could give their children a good education accepted the idea of having only 2 children. Those that were poor and couldn't take good care of their children had many. The percentage of literacy declined.Eventually war broke out between the countries with a poor population and the west.
