All the problems and RC"L
All the problems
I found it strange that the discussions in the youth movements were mainly on 2 issues only - death for terrorists, and euthanasia.
These are Interesting subjects, but there are all the other problems of the world to discuss.
I decided to make a list of ALL the problems that exist, and to present this list to everone.
The most important thing that I learned as an engineer was how to solve problems.
I wrote the list and compared it with a book on the same subject. I also asked others if there was anything missing. I did find one problem that I missed and I added it.
There are only 19 pages to this list. How come ?
I used 3 methods in order to make the list so short:
a. I only listed the problems but didn't add solutions or details.
b. I used general headings . For example when I mentioned health problems I only divided them into physical and mental .
c. I used examples for the chapters on areas, coutries, and cities - settlements.
Here is the contents of the list:
a. Seeing life as a problem.
b. The 3 types of solutions: active, passive, and recognizing that there are some problems with no solution.
c. The 13 steps in solving an active problem.
And then the problems of:
d. the universe,
e. our planet,
f. humanity,
g. areas (I used the Middle East),
h. countries (I used Israel),
i. cities-settlements (I used the kibbutz in general),
j. all individuals.
k. And then a summary.
I wrote this before the internet and I have only one copy. If anyone is interested I can send a copy by post.
RC"L אש"א
As long as I'm talking about movements I'd like to present here and idea that I haven't proposed in any other forum.
I would like to form an order of social pioneers.
I call this order RC"L - Responsibility, Co-operation, and Love.
(Ash"a is the abbeviation of the words in Hebrew).
These three values are copied from those of the French Revolution - Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite.
As you see I prefered resposibility to freedom, co-operation to equality, and love or at least respect to friendship.
