What is your problem ?
Here are the answers from some thinkers.
a. Some think that when experiencing a trauma, your main memory shuts down and the event is recorded in a different memory. Ron Hubbard says that it is in the memory of the cells. In Re-evaluation Co-counseling they say that it is another part of the brain.. When something happens similar to the event (i.e. a word, a sound, a smell) our main memory shuts down and the alternative memory takes over. You then don't behave in a controlled manner. The psychologists also request their patients to remember events in their past that might explain their unwanted behavior that sometimes erupts.
b. According to Ken Keyes your addictions are at fault. Everyone has addictions and they are not only smoking, alcohol, or drugs. You might be addicted to money, some food, power, or to infatuation. Keyes suggests that you should upgrade your addictions to preferences. When someone is addicted to something hie (he or she) feels bad. That is clearly true when hie doesn't have the object of hir addiction. It is also true when hie does have it because hie is worried that hie won't have it again soon. If hie doesn't have something that hie prefers, on the other hand, then hie just chooses something else.
c. The explanation that I prefer is called "wrong assumptions". These are usually expressed with " This is the only right way to do things. Any other way is inefficient, not acceptable, or just wrong.". The truth is that there are many possibilities for doing things correctly for almost everything. The norms of society do not determine the correct way. The individual can decide for himself. We should free ourselves from the idea of the majority that there is only one correct way and to check on what is the most suitable for ourselves. This is true in politics, in economics, in peronal relationships, and everything else.
